New ROVER-Ready Guidelines

FEMA and the ROVER developers offer new guidelines on how to get ROVER Ready: writing a plan, buying the hardware, installing the software, training users, etc.

The ROVER software can be a tool in a broader process of emergency preparedness and response. It is only helpful if you are ready to use it. FEMA and the ROVER developers offer new guidelines on how to get ROVER Ready: writing a plan, buying the hardware, installing the software, training users, etc. The guidelines list these basic steps, plus how to put ROVER into action and some typical ROVER projects and activities. See it here. If you are in a ShakeOut state, tell others you are getting ROVER Ready as part of your ShakeOut activities when you register for this year’s ShakeOut (www.shakeout.org).
